My girlfriend shoots a bear grizzly recurve marked 40# @ 28" but only draws 24" on my scale it's 30#She has goldtip ultralight 600's cut to 28" with 85 grain points. When bare shafted they hit around 2' to the left at 25 yards.Wayyyy to stiff and I don't think you could add enough weight to get it close. She would also like to shoot around a 25" arrow. She wants to shoot carbons if possible. Does anyone know what arrow would work?

If she insist on shooting carbon arrows, you will need to increase the tip weight a bunch, or have some really long arrows.
My Girl shot 1913 arrows up to 40 pounds, if you get some, stick some 145 to 175 grain tips, I think you will be suprised at how well they work.

The full length goldtips would probably work. If she wont shoot those then you might try Easton Redline 780's or Beman ics energy 780's with outsert and 100gr points at 28". For a 25" arrow you might have a hard time. They used to make 900's but they are rare these days and probably not very durable.
