My only suggestion is to wrap your fingers lightly around the grip. Most, if not all, of the folks I've seen who shoot with an open hand tend to grab the bow as soon as they release. This can create a ton of torque problems.

Hold the bow just tight enough to keep it from jumping out of your hand and don't change that grip tension during the shot.

When shooting with an open grip and no rist or finger strap I use my little finger to catch the bow. Works good for me.
