So I was waiting for the new arrows and tips to show up to test with my new Shrew....
I decided to take the ACS CX out and give here a go.
These arrows vary from ICS 300 bareshaft c/w 125 tips - ICS - 400 with 160 grain tips. 2020 with 125 - 2216 with 125 tips - 2315 with 125 tips
Woods - 63, 65, 70-73, 85
If you look at the pics the bare shafts flew straight but nocks are high in the pick, but the rest of the arrrows are dead straight.

Some are a bit left or right cause the target was moving a bit when it was hit with the previuos shot, but overall not bad at 15 yards.
I am still having a heck of a time shooting bullet holes in paper tuning with the shrew and getting some real nice holes with the ACS(probably my form), but I find the ACS more forgiving than the shrew currently.
I will play with some tuning this weekend, but I may have a shrew for sale soon......
Nothing against the Shrew, but I waited a year to get her so i wasn't going to past it up. I love the length and I know if I put some effort into her it will come around, just done't know if I will do that.

Jerry...at what yardage were you bareshaft testing?
-
10 yards - that's all the room I have.
I got the arrows for Paul today and I was shooting some nice holes after I cut an inch off the 85# arrows he sent me......think I got 'er figured.

jer, you are shooting too close, back up. You will "see" a difference if you know what you are looking for...O.L.

can't it's ten yards max - I will do testing next week outside on some bales at a friends place.
Problem is that it's been rudy cold until this week so going outside testing at 30 below was a bit dodgy
I will - with the longer daylight days now be able to test nex week though.
I will try the plaining method then.
