Post by: BRITTMAN on March 30, 2009, 10:22:00 PM: That was COOL ! Sorry about your eye , when I was 10 I got shot in the right eye with a BB gun . I had to have several surgerys to see as well as I do. You my want to have a doctor take a look at it just to make sure you didnt scar the eye ball .

Post by: Judo Point on March 30, 2009, 11:09:00 PM: Well thanks guys. The eye is doing alot better. It was two weeks ago today that I almost popped it. The bruising is gone and the stitches are out. I did see a doctor a few times and everything is healing fast. I still get a little double vision toward the end of the day but it gets a little better every day. I feel really lucky cause I thought for sure my eye was gone.

Which means that you shoot much better than me with stitches in your dominant eye....sounds like an insult from my youth:) I think I need to convince my wife to let me shoot indoors....I wonder what she would think if I was shooting at my wedding ring.....Oh I know, I'd end up with an eye like yours :saywhat:

And I wish that was what happened it would be easier to explain...Yeah the ole lady put a whoopin on me again, turns out she was right as usual. :knothead: Really though I think I need a wife to stop me from doing some of the stupid things I do. My friends have been telling me lately they don't think I should be left alone unsupervised. :goldtooth:

I once let my 50# Rebel recurve slip while untringing it, and got a similar slap in the face. That really hurts! You only do it once.
