I received this DVD yesterday and had a chance to watch it last night.
It answered a lot of my questions that I had from watching DVD # 2, but it raised a couple more.
All in all this is an excellent DVD and well worth owning. Some may be put off by the student segments, but I tihnk that they added to the video since you can see that Rick doesn't turn out cookie cutter archers. There is a lot of room for each individual to adapt to their own style.
There is also proof that Rick is not a machine. On one shot when he is shooting from his knees, he colapsed a little and threw the shot to the right a few inches. Of course even on a busted shot he shoots better than me. :)
The good news is that it is more than a rehash of his previous videos.
Rick touchs a bit more on tuning a bow to shoot where you aim. Not just how, but when to do it. (Hint, don't worry about it until your form is consistent.)
Many thanks to Rick & Dave for putting this together.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I just want people to know that for the last 8 months I have basically (voluntarily) put my life on hold to accomplish 2 things.
1- I wanted to help Rick into a better position, to be more accessible to folks who need help and want to become more accurate. Without going into details, I am confident that I've been successful in that goal. So I want everyone to know right here right now, that all the posting that I've done on the internet about Rick has been to HELP those who want to know more about Rick Welch.
2- an opportunity to give back to traditional archery. I'm gonna name names here. Jack Whitmire got me into traditional quite a few years ago. He gave me his time, & invested it into me. Ever since I've tried to pay that forward,I've helped a couple guys make the switch. However, this unique opportunity that really took on a life of it's own with Rick Welch, was once in a lifetime opportunity for me. It's very fufilling to know that I had a part in something that for years to come will provide a pathway for dedicated, open minded, traditional bowhunters, interested in Rick Welch's method, to become the most consistently accurate shot they are capable of becoming. So to do all of this for what I feel are the right reasons (pro bono)for the love of the lifestyle, and to help a really genuinely good man, if this isn't giving back/paying it forward I don't know what is.I've just been trying to help. Thanks again.- Dave Mullins.

Great job, Dave! I feel the same way you do about Rick and his shooting method.

Met Dave at ATAR. Never met a nicer more humble guy. Glad to see him helping out Rick. Don

I received the DVD monday, you guys did a great job, the only thing better would be taking Ricks class,

The video is great, and is probably as good as you can get. But again, I must say that it is not a substitute for actually taking his class. Actually, the video helps more AFTER you have taken lessons from him. Lessons are inexpensive and well worth it. Do both.
