Title: Tuning new long bow
Post by: ezmoney on July 27, 2009, 03:01:00 PM
I am consistantly shooting left of where I am shooting. Every one who shoots the bow has the same results. I know I am getting fletching contact (the bottom hen feather). I shoot three finger under and I am thinking of raising the knock point up higher than I an used to. Also tried increasing the weight if my feild tips . It seems to have helped, but I have not shot enough yet to determine that.

Very good advice from Armand. Here's a link to the site. Click on "bow tuning" and read it thoroughly, then read it again!

Thanks for the advise went to the forum and read up on tuning. Tried the bare shaft and discovered I needed to add weight to the tip. Bare shafts and fletched arrow are grouping. Now if I can just get more consistant with my groups.
