Title: Bowfit
Post by: LongStick64 on October 16, 2009, 02:21:00 PM
I've been using the Bowfit for a few months now and I'm really impressed on how it has made it easier to work with my higher poundage bows. I'm much sronger on the shot, very solid at anchor. Also found it helps to work on form alignment. Really good tool that will probably help anyone.

I use a bungee cord much the same way as I believe the Bowfit is used and it works well.

Sounds like some good winter excercise. How exactly do you use it or the bungee?

It helps to simulate drawing your bow. It allows you to focus on using your back muscles. By doing that, you start to strengthen them. So when you shoot your bow, you try to use the same muscles.

Check that Bowfit frequently as mine came apart at 'full draw' right near the handle and almost took an eye out.
