i'm not really looking for any help or anything like that(if you want to give please do though) I really just need to vent a little.
in the past few weeks i have shot very little. i mean almost none, hence the "break". well last week i went to a local shoot, and did really well, and had a blast. then the few pretty days we had the past week i shot out in the yard, and to say the least it hasn't been pretty.
then as if to pour salt into an open wound, i slammed my bow in the door, and kinda broke the limb. well, i figured i built the bow i can fix it. so i did, but in doing so i had to lighten the bow by about 5#. that made my arrow groups really start to stink. best i can tell i must have a terrible release, and lightening the draw weight made it that much more noticeable.
i'm to the point now that i am completely frustrated and almost want to give up. (that's not gonna happen, but it is tempting)
thanks all for letting me vent, i feel better already. any suggestion about how i can make myself a better shot will be greatly appreciated.
thanks again, Eric

Do like this :banghead: It also helps!
Mu suggestion is to wait till the steam is gone, and do a couple of rounds, and you'll be up to standards in no time :)

glad im not the only one that has done that!

Maybe takin 5#'s off the bow caused your arrows to become too stiff? Go up a little in point weight and see what happens. Think positive. Draw, anchor, pick a spot, quick clean release, hold steady until the arrow hits the target.
