fore those of u that shoot 3 under and using nock above and below.how close do u set the bottom nock to the bottom of the nocked arrow

I like a little space under the arrow to reduce arrow pinch. I put the arrow on the string then tye my first overhand knot but pull away from the arrow to tighten the knot, remove arrow then do a series of knots over and under the string then tye off.

I've just removed the bottem nock.
I found that even with a reasonable gap between the nock point and the arrow nock,I was still seeing some up down tail wag going on.
As soon as I removed the lower nock point,everything came right.
I could of messed about an got it right,but I never really saw any big advantage for me in two nocking points,and it was just simpler to run one.

I use one shooting 3 under or split if my arrow slides up and down the string when clipped on. If it does that I get odd shots and shelf contact on shots when the arrow slides down on release.
You can put on a brass one very loose then draw so it will slide down. Then check that and use it for a reference distance. If it will not slide try to just draw the bow back and look to see if it is binding anywhere close to your draw. Set it low and draw a few times moving it up until it just touches. You can have someone watch if you like. That will make it easier. You don't want it real tight.
One of my favorite compound set-ups was to shoot of the string with a release using one of those rubber donuts under the nock and two brass nocks on top. Bullet proof. I would think you could use one of those rubber donuts on your bow. I shoot mostly split so I don't, but I would give one a try shooting 3 under.

I place mine about the thickness of a dime below the bottom of the arrow nock...I do seem to get better flight if I use a tie on nock for the bottom.
