How cool is that!! Way to go!!
-
Thats cool .Way to start them young.
-
Hope I don't cause an uproar here but that certainly doesn't look safe. He's a lefty and your standing on his right side...this isn't a trust issue, I'm sure...but anything can happen.
Good Luck, Brian

Young man has great form. Way to go guys!
-
I saw them a few years ago at saw mill...top notch shooter he is. They also bunked right around the corner from us and they are an amazing family!
Keep up what your doing bud your son is a fine lad!
-
Wow, the kids good...what kinda backstop is that ?
I watched a clip of Howard Hill shooting things off a guys head, and with gals holding things in their hands. The whole time he's shootin' broadheads. I thought he'd never get away with that kinda stuff nowadays. Some fantastic shooting though.

 Cool Pics!!!

Now that is cool........

I've seen them at Baltimore (on the same bill as Byron Ferguson) and then again (twice I think) at ATAR, Great guys, both of them and A fine polite toung man with a good sense of humor. I was most impressed with them and their father/son relationship. It had nothing to do with the fact they presented me with a fine knife for being the oldest Serviceman present(and also for my service to the kids of ATAR) - honest - (though I was very pleased with the presentation and the knife - :goldtooth:
Good to "see" you two here - keep up the good work! Funny part is I just recently started my "Facebook" and posted some pics today to it, about ATAR and the Dino program. I also put on a pic of them and me taken right after that presentation. Kind of nice/coincidental to see these pics of them here on the very same evening :) .
Jim and Chris (the kid shooter) wasn't it?

Totally cool right there!
If he's doin' that now, just imagine where he will be 5 years from now!
It will be incredible!

-

Sweet, I've seen Byron Furguson & am very impressed at anyone who can make shots like that, your son has tallent.
-
And what a credit he is, to his folks, to trad archery, and to himself - both in his shooting and in his behaviour and the way he handles himself and deals with people. A very friendly young man.
-
I'm tickled to say that I recall when he was just such a wee tyke and I'd get to bounce him on a knee... That is one family that makes a man proud to be an American. they are true to family values as any crew around.
Both Jim and his wife are such devoted parents, its no wonder their 2 kids turned out so well!
I'm sure the camera 'angle' is misleading because Jim is no more in danger than Byron's wife when she throws for him or Stacy Grosscup's son years ago for his Dad.
Jim, I won't get down till later Fri this year to B'mo, but will look to see you guys!
-
Thank you all for your kind comments Chris just turned 14 hope we can meet some of you at the balt shoot and atar
-
What happened to the pics? They are no longer on photo bucket....I want to see them. :campfire:

Jim,
I shot with you and Chris at Baltimore Bowmen earlier this year. You both were a lot of fun to shoot with. Looking forward to seeing you at BBTC.

My son Ethan and I met Jim and Chris at Sawmill a couple of years ago. Ethan is about the same age as Chris and the two of them just hit it off, he even had Chris sign his bow. Ran into them again Denton, and they used Ethan for the balloon shot off the head trick and Chris gave Ethan the gumball that he shot out of the air. He still has it stashed away with his treasures. You won't find a nicer family or a more polite and respectful young man, or a more involved and dedicated father. This world could use more like them. After the show, we had the pleasure of shooting a course with them, and believe me, if heredity has anything to do with shooting skills, then Chris comes by his honestly. Jim is a great shot and just a humble, nice guy. Good luck and keep shooting Chris! Paul and Ethan

That's nice!!! Who says ("right") folks can't be in competion, without being in COMPETITION?
-
Very nice! I hope my kids will get involved someday as they are still just a little too young.
