I refuse to call them anchor points because I don't want to give the impression that I stop pulling. A while back I decided to really do some bail work and define my form, to me at least. What I found is that when I focus on getting all 3 reference points on my face it actually slows me down, settle in and come away with a real solid shot. It also allows me to shift focus on aiming. So basically it stops me from aiming before I get into position to encourage aiming. TP no more.

GOOD! I use more than one reference point also. It really helps me. I get to anchor EVERY time. I really feel for guys I see shooting who just cannot get to anchor before the shot goes off. Very difficult to break that habit.

Thinking about it, I kind of touch the corner of my mouth, cradle my ear, and feel the fletch on my face. Still have a raunch now and again. Slowing down, really has helped my shooting. I draw, aim, as a one, two, count, and try to release on three.
