Just wondering if one way or the other is more consistent in shooting form? I am still extremely green to the trad world.

There have been several threads with in depth discussions of the pros and cons of both styles, with many having tried both, and settled on one or the other for their own reasons.
The primary 'advantage' of the 3 under style is getting the arrow closer to your dominant eye to aid in aiming. Others, Fred Asbel for one, who adhere to an "instinctive" shooting style, maintain that since the arrow isn't used in aiming, placing it that close to the dominant eye, encourages the use of the arrow, thus interfering with true "instinctive" shooting. (See Asbel's DVD "Instinctive Shooting")They would all be proponents of 'split finger', which some say allows more control of the arrow.

When I switched to 3 under I notice a cleaner release, much better accuracy getting the arrow more under my eye, like the way my anchor feels compared to split finger with middle finger in corner of mouth and thumb under jaw bone. I first only used one nock on the string and found I like it much better with a second nock. Place my tab right under the second nock. My arrow flight is great and I do not pinch the arrow.

Kinda like a lot of things in this world. Some things work for some people, while other people have to do things completely different.

2under! That doesn't help much, does it?
-
Go three under, just realize that your nocking point will be 3/4 above perpendicular!

I think those blank/close bail guys know what they're talking about. After actually doing it.. I saw measurable results.
2under or 21 split.

Absolutely! There is no better way known, at this time, to ingrain the desired motor skills into your subconscious habit pattern than focusing on that motor skill with your eyes closed and repeating the skill until it's automatic.IMHO, FWIW! :dunno:
