Anyone wishing to participate in a bow shooting class taught by Rod Jenkins to be held in conjunction with the Ky Tradfest please pm me.Cost would be $225 per person.An advance deposit of $100.00 would be needed approximately 1 month before class to hold your spot.Balance to be paid the first day of class.The class would take place over a two day period.Ten to twelve people only and a couple of spots are already spoken for.We need commitments from a few more people to make this happen.The Tradfest will be held on April 2nd and 3rd 2011 near Harrodsburg Ky.More specific details available if you contact me.

I also want to add that those signing up and taking Rods class will be allowed to shoot the 3-D course for free that weekend.A $25 value.

Presently we have 5 people signed up for the Rod Jenkins class to be held on April 2nd and 3rd at the Ky.Tradfest.A maximum of 12 will be allowed in the class.Below is a description of what the class is most likely to include.
Rod was the 2004 IBO world Champion in the traditional class and one of the stars in Masters of the Barebow 3. Rod will bring his no-nonsense approach to shot execution and control with the traditional longbow and recurve in 2011. Topics to be covered in the 2 day clinic are;
1 Introduction of the 7 steps to excellence program
2 Individual shot analysis and correction
3 Formaster training
4 Practice drills to reinforce the 7 steps
5 Strengthening the mental game
6 Aiming methods discussion
7 Question and answer session
The classes run from 9 to 4 or 5 on Saturday, Then 9-2 or 3 on Sunday.
The cost will be $225.00 per person for the two days including a lot of one on one instruction with Rod.

How far is that from Cinci?

Mapquest shows it being 125 miles from Cincinnati to Harrodsburg if traveling by I-75 and 120 miles if traveling US 127.I presently have 3 spots open.The shoot is located about 5 miles from Harrodsburg.

Up for the last time.I have one remaining spot left for Rod Jenkins shooting clinic this upcoming weekend at the Ky Tradfest.It may be awhile before Rod gets back to this area.If you are having any shooting issues or just starting out it would be a good chance to get some help from a former World Champion IBO champion in the traditional class.You may have also saw Rod in some of the Masters of the Barebow series of videos.PM me for details.
