i have always shot both eyes open. just seems natural. eye dominance and what particular hand you shoot with is also something to consider.

I grew up when you were taught to shoot with your dominant eye open,  other one closed.  I have always shot that way, both bow and gun and have made an attempt to switch to both eyes open and find I am not nearly as accurate, I say figure out which one works for you and stick with it but if you havent tried either then most if not all instructors teach you to shoot with both eyes open.  Take care and good luck

Both open for me.  I have never been able to close one and shoot accurately.  With both open, I'm very confident in  my abilities.

Shoot with both eyes open. Learned how on the skeet range years ago and continued you it over to archery.

I have tried both and I end up trying to aim the arrow to much with one closed. For me my form starts getting sloppy when I close an eye. As said before do what is best for you.

Both eyes open.  Right eye does windage and left eye does elevation, but I focus on the target.

Both eyes open. Just stare at the target. Keeps my depth perception in line.

Keep both eyes open. Shutting one eye will really mess up your depth perception as well.

Like buldog18 said. Had to retrain myself on the skeet range
To shoot both eyes open. The increased field of view gets you on the bird quicker. Also automatically eliminates dominant eye problems. Same with a bow and no sights.

I shoot with both open, regardless of gear (trad vs compound w/sights).  Otherwise I don't have depth perception, especially problematic when shooting w/o sights.
