Title: How to set up an adjustable arrowrest?
Post by: SPARKSNACKER on June 21, 2011, 09:03:00 PM
I bought my first bow, a Hoyt Dorado (loving it, by the way), and I went ahead and put a centershot arrowrest on it. It has a threaded adjustable bolt that mounts it to the bow, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me tips on how to properly adjust this?

I currently have it all the way in, and the bolt is sticking way out the right side of the bow (it's a RH riser).

Thanks for any insight on this. This is my first post on the forum, btw.  :)

If you will get a level and place the bow string up on a support that you can place the level on so that it is across one of the limbs and put a arrow hanging down then you can screw in or out until the arrow is centered and strait down. That will be a good starting point for you to start your fine tuning from.
