I read someone’s else post and decided to make a new one. I am learning and was taught to try 2 fingers under. I just changed to 3 and noticed an easier sight line not to mention having it closer to my eye. I will say that shooting over 40 yards is not as accurate. Does everyone that shoots 3 under keep the split finger tab or what do they use???
Thanks for your help.

I am also experimenting with tabs after having shot with a glove for many years. After trying a half-dozen or so of them, my favorite so far is the Super Archery Mitt which is available from 3 Rivers.
My friend, who is a regular tab shooter, gave my his Super Archery Mitt because he said it was the worst tab he had ever used and he felt it was like shooting with a cast on his hand. Which proves again that there is no accounting for tastes! The Super Archery Mitt is a split finger tab, but it is not noticeable as such when shooting 3 under because of the way it is constructed.
My next favorite is the Black Widow calf's hair tab, which is a 3 under tab. The jury is still out on which, if either of these two, I will finally settle on. But I am shooting better with the SAM than I was shooting with a glove, so the chances are I will stick with a tab of some sort.
By changing your anchor, you could keep your point-on more or less where it was before. Since you're already changing to 3 under, it probably wouldn't be that much harder to change your anchor, if you liked your old point-on distance.

Check out the photo of my version of a 3 under tab.

The extra loop works great! Always ready to shoot and I haven't lost one since I put the extra finger loop on.

As McDave said tabs are a very personal thing. I like the Bateman tabs but also like a Cavalier tab. You will just have to try a few till you see what you like.
