I have been really working on my form as of late. Reading a lot about back tension and I never really got a full understanding until last night. (I think)
My question is when I come to full draw and "apply" back tension my shoulders feel like they drop a little bit. Is that how its supposed to feel? It makes sence to me that if I squeez my shoulder blades that my shoulders would have to drop a little.
Let me know if I'm on the right track. Thanks.

Blaino, You should start out with your shoulders low. You also should not think "squeezing my shoulder blades".
You SHOULD think about a rotation of your string shoulder and elbow AROUND your spine -- more or less horizontally. Keeping your bow shoulder and shoulder blade down and back will give you room in your back to pull the string shoulder blade towards your spine.
It sounds as though your are on the right track, it's just that the old advice about squeezing your shoulder blades together is WRONG! All you get with that advice is a colossal wreck of shoulder blades and muscles at your spine -- there's no room for movement.
Have you tried a form master? If not -- DO SO.

If you dont creep or collapse then dont get hung up on trying to feel back tension, just focus on aim and running the shot sequence correctly.
You end up overthinking everything and will screw your head and shooting :knothead:
