I shoot a 60 inch maddog longbow. I just recently changed my anchor and think I know what finger pinch is now. Please help me varify that is what im doing or is it that I am not pulling with equal amount of pressure on with my fingers.
I shoot split fingers. I use to anchor with my index finger in the corner of my mouth. I recently switched to middle finger in the corner of my mouth and trying to do index finger on my cheek bone.
There are times when I can feel my middle finger in the corner of my mouth but index finger is not where it is suppose to be. I pull 29 inches and figure that it is finger pinch causing my index finger to not go back as far because the angle of the string is to great.
Please give me your thoughts or what other things might cause this?
Thanks for your time.

Finger pinch usually refers to the pain in your fingertips of drawing a tightly string. Also shows up as the arrow falling off the shelf as you draw.
Your case might be, but if it doesn't hurt I'd just say it's a smaller string angle than you're used to. I just use the tip of my index finger behind my canine tooth. Works with 58" to 62" recurves for me.
