Smashed my ring finger about a month ago and was unable to shoot my normal 3 under so i tried 2 under with a deep hook. Found I can shoot just as good/bad as with 3 under. Tried to go back 3 under today and it just felt all wrong. Heck I might just stay 2 under!

Keep at the 2-under for a little longer, and I will bet that you'll stay with it.
If more guys would just give it a try, there would be a bunch of guys using 2-under. But, many are afraid of trying something new.

I know a lot of people that do.

I shoot with my middle and ring finger under, index finger out straight and LIGHTLY on top of the shaft. I "load" my middle finger at the start of the draw and get as much draw weight as possible on it. The pad of my thumb is firmly on the last knuckle of my little finger. Tip of my middle finger anchors at the tooth behind the canine tooth and the thumb knuckle is behind the point of my jaw bone. Very clean and consistent release, a chronograph shows 1 to 2 f.p.s. variation shot to shot.

I can definitely relate. Check out my thread titled Two finger shooting.
