I've been experimenting a little - and seem to have a cleaner release with a larger size serving (double served}...opposite of what I expected. Anybody else have any insight into advantages/disadvantages of changing serving and nock sizes?

Are you using Trad Nocks on your arrows or Pinch nocks? MAJOR difference in Release!

I'm shooting both. I like a thin tab, but end up with dog pads for finger tips - callus up pretty bad. Thought by increasing serving size, it might help eliminate so much wear on fingers. Surprisingly - I seem to get off the string slicker. Just wondering if anyone else had experimented w/ different serving sizes.

yep more strands in the string and larger serving is better for me!

Did you ever try a tab ?, my calluses are going away since I switched and my accuracy has only gotten better.
Thought about this post, your probably correct " thicker sting smoother release". I purchased a Bear super magnum 48" and it had those rubber no glove release aids on the string, I tried to shoot it before taking those off the string and this was with a glove on, it shot very smooth and accurate right from the get go, something to think about, but remember thicker string = slower arrow, at least usually.
