Any helpful critique is appreciated. I thought I held my anchor alot longer than these videos show. Looks like I'm snap shooting.

I did do this while shooting the videos this morning. My first true Robinhood. Kinda sux. I just made these arrows this week :(

This is what a good group at 15 looks like for me. I really wish it were a little tighter. Keep in mind this is a good group. They ain't always like this, unfortunately.

Again, any helpful input is appreciated. I think my elbow might be a tad high.
Thanks for looking.

Bud, With the quiver on, it is very hard (impossible) to see how your back is working on the "from behind" video. You are shooting very fast.
In the second video that should be from the front, I get another copy of the "behind" shot. really can't help much here. Can you re-post the "front" video?
-
PS, You elbow looks OK in the "behind" video.

hmmmmmm not sure what happened but I see two different videos in the top post.
Here is the direct link.

Thanks for the input so far. I draw until my middle finger touches the corner of my mouth. Then release. And it does look fast.
When drawing I really can't feel a tug on the bicep of my left arm. I used to. Now when I get tired I feel it in my shoulders between my spine and shoulder joint. It alomst feel like I've been carrying a load on my shoulder for a while.
Thank you Arne.

Bud,In general you are looking pretty good. If you are feeling the "tired" where you say, you are getting into your back OK. Looking at your group, I can't help but think that your speed of release is "getting" you a little. It doesn't take very much string hand deviation at all to produce a horizontal spread like you show in the picture. To tighten that, you might TRY stopping at anchor just a little longer and assuring that the bones in your hand are pressing the bones in your face. Less than 1/8th inch of difference in your string hand position at release can easily cause that group spread.

Thank you Sir!!
Did the second vid come thru OK?
-
Yep, got the second one. For some reason the second in your original post shows a front view but all I got there was a repeat of the rear shot. But have seen them both now.
-
Got that second one fixed.

Looks fine. If you are getting good results and feel comfortable when shooting then your chosen form is likely a good fit for you. Not everyone shoots the same way.
Just curious...what are your bow and arrow specs? There seems to be a bit of noise when you release...as if your arrows may be a bit overspined.

Just my take....looks like your are releasing a little short. Also, it looks like you don't have a solid anchor. I don't think your elbow is too high, but I don't the rotation at the end competing the 'J'.
HH shot quick, but he had a definite anchor, his eye tooth I believe.....he shot so much that he didn't have to think or search for his anchor....he drew directly to his anchor and the arrow was away.
