I have recently started shooting from an elevated position and have noticed that my shots are a lot better than when I shoot from ground level. This is better for me since I only hunt from tree stands rather than from ground blinds. Do y'all shoot better from ground or elevated? And could anyone explain why I may shooting better from elevated stands.

I have a second story back porch and a back yard to slopes down. It makes for realistic elevated shooting. Since I only hunt deer from stands, it is at least a better practice set up than shooting from the ground. I do occasionally shoot at an indoor range and I can't say I shoot better one way or the other. I DO have it ingrained to bend at the waist when shooting from elevated positions!
