I have been shopping around for a new flemish fast flite string. 3Rivers describes their strings as 18-strands for a balance between speed and thickness for proper nock fit. Another major player describes theirs as 12 strand strings consisting of 3 Bundles which makes them rounder and considerably more homogeneous, making it easier to release the arrow from the string.
Which one would you go with?

You'll get more and better answers on the Pow Wow. This forum is for shooting FORM. There are many answers to your question but weight of bow is required.

Ok, I have taken your advice, but I find this a little less than clear. The main forum states about the Pow Wow forum, "let's chat about trad bowhunting!". It states for this shooting forum is dedicated to all aspects of the act of Shooting longbows and recurves." I thought that the correct string might better fit as a shooting issue. The bow is not for hunting. Thanks for the advice.

Terry's first 10 posts at the top of the forum make this pretty clear. I'm not exactly sure why they chose to draw the line where they did either, but it's a great website full of useful information, so "when in Rome...."
