I'm interested in attending an archery instructional program, and would like suggestions. I live in Western NC and would like to travel as little as possible. I shoot longbow and am just interested in getting better and having a good time. Thanks Keith

Have you checked out Bob Wesley? He's over near Chapel Hill. [email protected]
He's one of the last (if not the last) active instructor that learned from HH himself.

Keith, I'm in WNC myself, so if you hear anything about a school let me know. Maybe we could share a ride.

No offense but first thing i would do is change the wording of your topic

??? After thinking about it, I guess I get it: you're referring to the school shootings. I'm sorry, but I don't think your post is in very good taste, and probably should be deleted.

McDave and jerseyboy, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I was asking for opinions on instructional schools for shooting a bow. I was in no way referring to school shootings! McDave, not sure how you got school shootings out of a post asking for advice on choosing a shooting school posted on an archery forum. But, I do apologize for any offence that was taken. I meant no disrespect. If the moderators feel this post should be deleted, then it should be deleted. In the meantime I will change the name of the post.

I'm sorry, Keith. Evidently my post wasn't clear. I thought your original title was fine. I was just wondering what Jerseyboy's point was. Probably should have kept my mouth shut. I thought his post should be deleted.

Sorry McDave, I misunderstood your post. No offence to you. I apologize.
