I want to thank Rod Jenkins for a fantastic Shooting Clinic in Santa Fe this past weekend.
Everything I'd read about Rod as an instructor as well as the Clinic content was spot on. Rod walked us through the shot sequence - which seems deceptively simple - as well as drills and shot practice and review. Rod was super patient and supportive through the whole clinic, putting us at ease about the work, the shot and about shooting in front of others.
It was a huge help for me that Rod pointed out some (ok, several really ;) ) flaws in my form, and laid out a real-life plan for how to correct those.
I have my work cut out for me, but I'm up for it.
I also want to thank everyone that came out for the Clinic. We had people traveling from as far as San Diego, Pennsylvania and Alaska. Everyone were really helpful in the sign-up phase, and just all-round great to hang out with during the Clinic. They even put up with the infamous winds on the range - tough day.

This clinic was a game-changer for me..I just have to start over. Henrik's efforts were huge and everyone benefitted from them. Rod's instruction should considered by anyone at any level who wishes to improve their shooting skills. Thanks to all, Tom.

Starting from scratch is no problem! If you follow Rod's program you will be fine. I even started the program going from split to 3 under. It was really a non issue. You will really see strong improvements as the months go by. I look back after 6 months and go wow! I always thought of myself as a good shooter but there really is no comparison between the person before the clinic an now. The biggest thing I can say is don't give up if you run in to a little hiccup. I was shooting good and shortly after ran in to some problems. I did not realize it but it was target panic. I called Rod and he helped me through it. It is a no issue any more and I can push that bow any where I want to now. So if you run in to a issue dont give up and revert back to the old ways! Good luck!

I'll be in touch about a class Rod. You should come to IN, OH, or MI for a course. There is interest in it here.

I'm waiting for him to have another class at his place in Alabama. I'd love to attend one of his clinics.
