Title: Proper way to shoot for a newbie
Post by: Skittles on June 04, 2013, 11:10:00 PM
Just bought my first traditional bow and wanting to start out right and not form the bad habits that are hard to break. I have watched some of moes videos on you tube and those have been great, and was just wondering about DVDs or books or just anything that can help me out at this stage.

Instinctive Shooting DVd by G. Fred Asbell. It was very valuable to me when I went back to a recurve. A very well done instructive video by a true gentleman.  There are also a couple of books to compliment it. You will not find G. Fred on YouTube.

Blind/blank bale shooting, it's tough at first, but it will cement your form down.
