when I draw my bow to anchor I am always above the target so I need to "swing down" on the target and If I don't watch I seem to move quickly to it. Is it possible to get to full draw and be on the spot so to speak ?

I've been working on rhythm/timing of my draw lately also. Finding I like reaching my anchor slightly before my bow hand comes up to target. Also using a short swing, sort of in between swing arm and set arm. Some good tips in Instictive Shooting II (G.Fred) and Traditional Bowhunting (T.J. Conrad).

Work on lining up as you draw. You should be able to start getting more on the spot on the draw. Also maybe try a rotational draw. It could be something in the way you anchor in. I have the opposite problem. I tend to settle in low. It is way harder to lift up than settle down IMO.

I do the same thing man. I started it to help me with back tension and it just kinda stuck.
