Title: lower anchor point

Does having a lower anchor point make it easier to get into your back muscles?  Just wondering your thoughts

It does for me. Keeping the drawing arm elbow down/parallel with the bow arm also helps.

Biomechanically, YES, BUT a trade off with gap sizes for aiming.  That is ONE of the reasons Oly style target shooters use the under the jaw bone anchor position.  If you use a slight high to low draw motion, you can set BT that way and there is little BT challenge with a side of face anchor.

Just depends on your style and the "game" you want to play.
