i keep getting a impact of the arrow planing in a downward motion, somethimes it flys perfect i dont get it, can anyone please help my bareshaft is tuned at 175 grains the zwickeys are 170
-
seemed to cure this by adding second nock point on string. this make sense?
-
still doing it, some fly dead on some plane down can anyone help please
-
There are several things that you can try, tinker with your brace height, tinker with your nocking point, canter your bow just a little bit more, work on your release and it may be that your arrows or broadheads need tuning. May take some time to figure it out but well worth it! Zwickey broadheads are all I ever shoot. Great broadheads.
-
but why would it should dead on at times and others not?
-
Could you have a problem with point alignment on some of your arrows?
-
Are you sure you're bareshaft tuned? Could be broadness alignment, but inconsistent flight is usually operator error. How's your release?
-
yes it has something to do with my grip, when i first start shooting everything shoots right on the money then i start getting string slap and throws my broadhead off idk what im doing wrong
-
Sorry for the delay, sounds like a release issue but take a minute to check everything out starting with your arrow, broadhead alignment, cracked nocks or misaligned nocks, spin test. Then the bow,,,brace height, twisted limbs, the way the string lays in the limb grooves, rest, and strike plate. Then shoot and when a arrow shoots off, isolate that arrow and shoot it again to see if it shoots the same. Are you shooting 2 or 4 blade Delta's?? Are you getting a whistling sound??
-
no sound, seems to be flying good when i first start shooting, i tryed rotating elbo out and they fly great now, pain to sharpen though i have a kme

I use a lil shaver sharpener that I got off 3 Rivers, a very small half round chainsaw file and a jewel stick for the touch up. Comes out shaving sharp for me. Best of luck.

I've been shooting the Zwickeys for 30 years never had planning problems ....you have an alignment problem a tuning problem a release problem or a form problem...... not a Broadhead problem

had to run...sorry...
I hope you get it worked out
