Johnny -
Shiner is brewed at the Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, TX. Shiner Bock actually won a bronze medal at the 2001 Great American Beer Festival in the category of American Style Dark Lager. It is beginning to move west as I hear that it is available in some areas of Kalifornistan.   :D

Just a reminder to all........."Lifes too short to drink cheap beer". (I would have to add light beer to that statement.)

Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Deschutes River Brewery

Crisp, hoppy but not bitter, full bodied but not overpowering for the food.

Yep, definitely    :D

B

(though I figure a lot of you guys out there would prefer a Terminator Stout with just about any food   "[laffsmyl]"  )

Hmm, I'd have to say Ziegenbock, Shiner is good but I like the Ziegen a little better.
