A bunch of canned deer meat. This is my first try and it worked perfectly thanks to info on here.
I'll admit it doesn't look appetizing in the jars but it sure does taste good.

I've heard about it but never canned any myself. Congrats on a job well done.

Man that looks good. Canning deer meat is done a lot here in WV. It's good any way you fix it and it's a quick meal. Good deal.

I seriously considered doing this over the winter. What was your total "start up" costs including the pressure cooker..
Great job!

A few years ago 5 of us did a backcountry hunt for 2 weeks. Took some canned moose with us. What a treat that was on the days we had moose! Soo good!

This a great idea. I've heard not to use meat that has been frozen. Is that true? I have a bunch of round steaks in the freezer that I'd like to defrost and can if that is possible.
