I feel pretty proud of this recipe. Even though I'm using a mckormicks seasoning packet, the rest is pretty much my input.
This recipe makes a very nice, not to wet, but moist meatloaf. Some say it's too sipmle...but then they taste it and it's the best they've had.
What you need is:
2 lbs of ground Venison
1/2cup of dry stuffing
1/2cup of cubed pepper jack cheese
1 egg
1/4cup of milk
1 pkg McKormick Meatloaf seasoning
No order, just mix it all in a bowl. Throw it in a breadpan...Bake for 1 hr at 350deg.
Now, I'm a big fan of the flavor of meat. I don't like any sauces or other ketchup junk to distract from it. The seasoned meatloaf is fine as it is, but with the addition of the pepper jack...OH MAN!!! Gives just that little kick, but you don't get it until after you swallow that first bite, so it doesn't distract too much.
My wife loves this recipe!!!

I like the stuffing mix idea.
Sage is a good addition too.

What/Who's dry stuffing..there must be 100's out there.

I made it and it turned out great. I used traditional sage flavored Stove Top. Thanks for sharing.
