Title: Recognize this Pan?
Post by: Webster2 on May 08, 2012, 11:54:00 AM
My daughter paid a dollar for this pan at a yard sale in Virginia. I wouldn't take a hundred for it.

It is unusually deep and beautifully made, but has no markings.

That's a Chicken Fryer.  I have one passed down from my grandparents.  I make a mean country fried steak in it.

Thanks,

With that heavy, tight lid, it sure keeps the steam in.

I make all kninds of stuff in it.

One of my favorites is stewed liver and onions.

My mom had on very similar to it, it was her favorite "frying pan".
