whats a gator hunt go for in florida or georgia ?anybody know of any good out fitters?

Kieth, re-search it on-line. I have never hunted gators but i have a few friends that do. I think now you can get tags at wal-mart and i dont think you would need an outfitter if ya got a boat. I'm not sure about all that but it should be easy to find out from florida's game and fish web site....shane

Tags sold out in Florida last year in 4 hrs. The 1 st day to apply was in early June. Non Resident was around a grand or so. Best way to hunt the gators 1st time out is with an outfitter. It's big $ but the experience is worth it. Gators require speciallize equipment-boat and such - and the guides know the local waterways. Given the fact that you must hunt at night makes that knowledge invaluable

By the way, Try H and H Outfitters in Melbourne. Donnie has experience with trad hunters, but he requires a bang stick finish.
