Too deadly, that Clint fella.
-
Awesome stuff there Clint
-
awesome pics clint!
-
do you have to get shark tags clint?
-
That is bad a**! :notworthy:
-
Very Cool!!!!! :clapper:
-
cody- nope, no tags. there are some species that are no take though but i haven't seen any. no size limit either. i once shot a hammerhead that was about 9' long but the shot wasn't the best and i got my arrow back. the barbs didn't go in.
-
very cool, the skins would probably make cool backings and handle wraps.
-
walkabout- they do! i traded them with a guy for some obsidian. he made some bow grips out of it. very grippy!
-
Now that is hard core fishing at it's best!!!.....Randy
-
Care to tell about your method? Shooting from a boat, chumming, or any details? I use to do some saltwater bowfishing but the past few years i got into spear fishing with hawaiian slings as it was alot like shooting a lonbow. Ive been expirimenting with the surgical tubeing on my longbow this summer...thinking of trying howard hills feat next spring and looking for any advice.

this should help.

Clint that has got to be inginuity in action right there - guess the reel is on free spool at the shot??????????? I would have to check that quite a few times.

-
J-dog I've seen some places around harkers island you could do that out by the lighthouse. looks like he wraps so line on the reel once it feeds off the reel he's on the rod for the fight.
-
nc recurveman- that's exactly what i do
-
Sweet work with the shark...
-
That might be the coolest thing I have ever seen. I bet that gets a little nerve racking in bear feet pulling in a shark
-
Wow clint thats some nice pics and a nice set up.
-
Looks like fun hunting!
-
wow :archer: :clapper:
-
That is great shooting, I am however curious, what type of camo do you wear, do you try and go scent free, and have you ever been busted while in or at your stand, oh and while your stalking does the sand or the coral make a crunchy sound, like dried leaves ? :bigsmyl:
-
That is some crazy stuff! nice going Clint!!
-
Thanks for sharing that. Way cool.
-
That might have to go on the must do list
-
i never knew that there was a " shark" season. lol. not to sound naive, but i didnt know that you could shoot them. :)

-
Great pictures, that has got to be a rush. I'm with Shane I'd like to hear how you go after them and what are you sneaking up on in your avitar picture?
-
That is awesome, I have to believe that slinging arrows at sharks is the pinnicle of bowfishing. Very awesome!
-
Very cool, great job and pics Clint!
-
Awesome... I go after my first shark with a bow in july!
