Post by: mochasam on April 16, 2011, 06:24:00 AM
Vermonts deer population is meak and the winter has killed alot of our turkeys ,but if you guys have been watching the news here in Bennington we have finally got dangerous game . For those that have missed it several local people were attacked by a squirrel lol and I'm wondering how heavy an arrow I need to get good penetration lol,I wouldn't want to take any unnecessary risks.

play it safe mochasam, have a buddy back you up with the shotgun in case of a charge!

be safe out there. I would carry a handgun as backup, at least a .357 mag.

Personally I'd look at a Glock 10mm, good power and plenty of it. Charges can be nasty!

That 10mm auto would be a good choice.
