Title: Value of Grumley Deerslayer
Post by: 7 Rivers on July 12, 2004, 10:52:00 AM
I'm thinking of parting with a Deerslayer and was wondering what the current going price is. It's a later model (after the Bear Products stamp broke) in good shape and I have a couple of the original arrows that the owner bought with the bow (same name on bow and arrows). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. UG

i am not sure of the actual value, but I am looking for a grumley deerslayer. do the arrows have broadheads on them? I would like to see a picture if possible. is it the 64"? are you looking for anything for partial trade?
thanks
Dave

The bow is 60". The arrows have field points. I'm not even sure I'm going to let it go but I might have to (to many hobbies to fund). The proceeds would go to other projects so trades wouldn't be an option. I'll see if I can send you some pics.

what is the weight and draw length? is it backed with anything? I would love to make a replica of it. I have a really nice osage stave that I am saving for that task.

There is no poundage marked on the bow and it apears to be backed with something thin and yellowish (THERE'S A GREAT DESRIPTION). Still working on the pics. If you go to the Stickbow.com homepage there is a section on collecting that has some great pics on Grummley bows.
