Title: Bear Razorhead question
Post by: ethan on August 06, 2005, 08:36:00 PM
I was just curious, I have 6 Bear Razorheads that are still in the original package. They are from the Grayling Mich. plant before it moved to Fla. I would never get rid of them and would figure they are not really high in value since there are probably lots of them. I was just curious. Thanks.

Depends on the type and package. Pics would help a bunch.

A very quick visual check may help. Look at the vent on the broadhead. Is it rounded at both ends? Or does one end come to a point?

If one end comes to a point they are post 1964 and more than likely worth about $3 each.

Rounded at both ends (D shape) will require a little more digging.

If they are in the red rectangular box, and the box is good, You might be surprised what they are worth. Especially if the are pre 64.. Even on the yellow vacuum seal card, they will bring a premium.
Like Dan said posting a picture would help. Pre 64's are identified by the ferrule and the vent cutout. Several times the different pictures have been posted on different threads

they look more like the picture of the 1960 Ron. I could never get rid of them and don't really know why I was even curious, but anyways, thanks fellas.

I have several of these, but would guess without lookin that mine are post 64's. One batch is on some Browning brand name woodies, the others on unmarked woodies. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow, am at work right now.
