What exactly is Fascor, and when did BEAR use it?

Fascor is nothing more than laminated maple bear started using it in 1969

Used alot in the mid 70's bows.

It is a maple lamination that has been infused with resin under pressure, allegedly giving it more speed for the size of lamination. This was a similar concept to Futurewood which soon followed. Lots of companies later used it, calling it what they would. My old Bighorn was made with "Ramwood", which added weight and durability to the riser. Look at any Bear bow that has it, the edge of the maple lam will appear gray or dirty rather than the light color normally seen. CKruse
