This was the best ever. Prizes for Bear arrow with broadhead, vintage Bear bow, Fred lookalike. Prizes for high scorers too.........but with Fred scoring that of course was relative!
8 and 10 ring are scored the usual, a hit anywhere else on the animal is minus 5 and a complete miss is also as usual.
Got some pics for you:

Hi Bjorn
I was at the Chamberlin Shoot selling a few older Bears from my collection this past weekend and ran into a couple of your fellow members. They talked of the great success of your Fred Bear Shoot and that you may do it again next year and make it a two day event. This would certainly be one many of us would look forward to. Two days and camping on site or near would make it all the better. Any chance??
Certainly looks like a good time!!! :)

Hi Larry, we will certainly repeat the event next year and we are already talking about a two day shoot. There is camping in the vicinity and lots of motel accommodation as well.
A few more pics:
Here's the go to guy for stickers and transfers for your vintage bows!

Here's the thread where Trap removed the leather and started the thread. Good thing Wade put us on the right path!

Looks like a ball!

Looks like a great time. I recognized Al Harford. He certainly gets around. I've met him at Denton Hill and maybe Baltimore too.
-
Looks like everyone had a good time.
I saw your Morley bow displayed at the United Bowhunters of MO Festival/Banquet. A great piece of history.
Are you going to bring it to the ABCC 40th Annual Meeting in Colorado?

Very cool Bjorn! Thanks for sharing.

I need to find a club like that..... Looks like a lot of fun ;)
