Title: King Cobra?

Friend of mine asked me to look at an old recurve. Claims its a Ben Pearson. Says King Cobra on both limbs and riser says 1053/62"/53-303 and is noted 35# at 28".

I'm not an expert in old bows but it looks like the limbs are straight with no fractures or splits in the wood. Anybody have any info on this bow? My friend wants to sell it and I have no idea what to tell him. Might buy it for my kid if the price is right.
