Title: Broadhead collectors?
Post by: Thadbow on October 09, 2014, 01:00:00 PM
I have a young daughter that is wanting to start some sort of collection and I think it is a great idea. I was telling her I had some broadheads that should be collectible but I am having a little trouble finding a book or website to look up heads.
Where do you all recommend a good starting would be?
Thanks,
Thad

There are several books in print for the broadhead collector, but if she is just interested in having a small collection, you can look at my photobucket pictures. Click on the pictures to see broadhead info.

If you do not see what you are looking for, post pictures of the broadheads you have, and we would be glad to ID them for you.

Wade Phillips produced the definitive book titled:    Broadheads 1871 - 1971

It is occasionally available on **** or by writing him at:

Wade Phillips
P.O. Box 44
Boys Town, NE  68010-0044

There's also a volume two that catches up to 2007 and a whole separate one on bowfishing heads.

Makes a great collection.  The American Broadhead Collectors Club has a master list and newsletter.
