Ron, I know you shoot quite a few bows, and I'm sure you'll like the Bear TD's.  To answer you questions: A set of #1 limbs(the shortest) will produce a 56" A handle, a 60" B handle, and a 66" C handle.  A set of #2 limbs(medium) will produce a 58" A handle, a 62" B handle and a 68" C handle.
A set of #3 limbs(longest) will produce a 60" A handle, a 64" B handle and a 70" C handle.  You can see that you can have a 60" A handle bow and also a 60" B handle bow depending on limb length.
As far as grips, there were two types; a softer rubber type and a harder plastic.  The #1 grip is considered the low grip; the #2 grip would be a medium grip; and the #3 grip is considered a high grip.
Hope this helps.  There is plenty of info on this forum about the takedown bows both wood and mags.  Give me a shout anytime.
Shick
