Just joined the Trad Gang today, Should be fun. I hunt with a Fox Maverick recurve. Got lucky couple of days ago, found a 1966 Bear Grizzly 39# 58 inch for only 30.00. It will be fun to play around with. Just put a new string on it, nock and arrow rest pad. Maybe will shoot it today. Live and hunt in Boise, Idaho. Thanks.

Welcome to Tradgang. Your Griz sounds like a bargain and it should be fun to shoot and hunt with the 58" length.

Welcome, Al. Great find on the Grizzly. 1966 -67 is an under-appreciated iteration of that model. Just be careful that you don't get the idea that vintage bows are affordable, shootable and good looking...you'll end up like the rest of us!

The 66 Grizzly is certainly a nice one to start out with and at $30 a real bargain. Nice African Bubinga riser and a respected hunting bow.
Good Find!!!

Welcome aboard from another newbie to the forum. I also shoot a Grizzly, among others. It's a fine bow IMHO.
