Title: Bear Polar ... what year.. Help please

I have a Bear Polar that I was hoping someone could help age for me. It's marked 64" 42@28 s/n JL142. White glass limbs, black & white tips. has a gold bear coin in it.

It sounds like a 1962 perhaps?

Thanks for your help .... just confirmed its a 1961.
