Title: Bearcat bows
Post by: cedarshaft on July 21, 2016, 03:30:00 PM
Have 2 Bear "Bearcat" bows; each 45# and AMO 60". Both bows are in very good shape and am taking to Denton Hill next week to sell them for a friend. Problem is I have no idea of their value. ID #=9M13204 and 9M14116. Any help in setting a price for these will be appreciated. Thanks

They're less popular than the Kodiak and Grizzly, but still good entry level bows.  Those you have are good weights and very good shape...and seem to be 1969 models...so $100-125 IMO.

One of these days I have to make that trip.

The 1969 was pretty much bare bones as far as the Bearcat goes with a hard rock maple riser and 60".

Some of the earlier years were made 66" with exotic woods and can fetch a higher price. Nice shooting I might add!

I just sold a 64 Bearcat made with Zebrawood for $200. It was in very good to excellent shape. 66" Left handed 29#.

It seems anything of zebrawood from Bear brings top dollar.  That '64 sure has some WOW factor.
