Title: UPDATE!! Bear Super Kodiak?

I have had this camo Super Kodiak for several years now. Seeing all the info on "hidden treasures" lurking under the camo finish on some of these has me curious. I have very little money in this bow...if I recall it was thrown in on a deal I made on a 69 Kodiak Hunter...

The serial number is BK-01473 and I can't find any info on that number. Is it a modern Super Kodiak? Or is it one from 67-76?

The bow has had quiver and site bushings installed and leaves have been added to the camo finish so I'm not concerned about taking away any value by sanding off the paint to take a look at what's under it.

Here are some pictures, just curious if anyone has a way to search the serial number so I will know how old it is.

Its a modern Super Kodiak. Looks better with the paint on.

I am the other side of the fence; I'd probably strip it just to see if it looks good....

Update! Once my suspicions were confirmed that this was a "modern" Super Kodiak, I pulled out the sand paper....very plain wood, certainly nothing special, but I think it turned out good...will leave it like this for a while at least...
