Hey Mark,
We're sending prayers your way. It's part of human nature that as they get older, the youngsters don't need dad as much anymore. It doesn't mean they don't love you any less. It just means they are growing up. I'm going through that everyday but I wouldn't have it any other way. Hang in there. One of these days there will be another youngster coming along who will be calling you "grandpa". When that happens, you'll have your hands full all over again teaching him or her the fine points of traditional archery. Keep the ol' chin up!

I have the same emotions towards my parents as I grow older. Live 1200 miles away from them and miss them. Prayers for you and the kids. Maybe they need to hear that from dad as well.. John

I know what you mean Bro.
I went through the same thing from 1987 till 1995, but they came around and now keep in touch with them often.
Prayers sent for you.
God Bless, don't give up.

Know the feelings. Prayers sent.

Prayers have gone up, hang in there. Live a Godly life before them, you'll never regret it and they will never forget it.

I pray for God's great peace to overwhelm you! Be Blessed!

Prayers echoed and praises lifted up that you, and so many of us, have this glorious place to come and remember and reach out to one another in Christian love... knowing that His Love is all that is needed, but sometimes as fallable mortals, we just need one another.
Thank you Lord for motivating those who provide this site to continue in this fine "ministry" whereby we can uplift each other and lift up one another's needs.
Keep the Son in your eyes, Marc. :)
