Doug n' Karen are headed EAst to the Brokow's and are driving through a lot of bad weather!
They left Pittsburgh area last night and were going to have lunch w/ me here in the Harrisburg area today, but we talked and decided they should just push on to try to beat the weather.
It's 10:00 here in E. PA and they're just rolling into the Allentown area on Rt78. I spoke w/ Karen moments ago... accidents around them, icy conditions...
Let's keep these good people in prayers for a remainder of their journey to be safe and w/out incident. they pushed till Midnight and I'm not sure where they stopped... but they've got some tough road ahead with the worst of the weather headed that way!
Lord, in your Mercy, Keep our friends safe.

Karen tried to update me mid-afternoon, but her cell connection was terrible and garbled. I haven't heard back after the connection was lost.
Hopefully, all is well.

Father we ask for traveling mercies for Doug & Karen and all of our Trad Gang family as they travel over this CHRISTmas season!

Great news! I heard from Karen rather early this morning! They were at Tom Brokow's place where there wasn't cell coverage and were off today to visit with other friends... and when they found coverage, called to let me know they'd made it ok.
:) Yeah! Another storm headed up that way...could be a lot... but they're safe. Should leave Tues. to come home if the weather is cleared.
Thank You, Lord, for watching out for our friends.
I teased Karen that the East was just throwing these MT visitors a winter welcome... and she quipped back, "Yeah, but we don't get ice storms!" :)

I received a "broadcast" email from Doug and Karen that they made it home last night with minimal airline hassles and were happy to be back in good ole MT!

Awesome! Good to know.
Gracias Doc.
