Thank you all for the prayers...please keep them coming. For those who don't know I was diagonosed with breast cancer 2 weeks ago. I had a cat scan on Monday and see my surgeon again tomorrow. Please pray that nothing showed up bad in the cat scan...and that the shadow on my liver in the MRI was only that just a shadow. I also need prayers for the following things:
1. That my sentinel node is clear.
2. That no other nodes need to be taken.
2. That I have clean margins.
On Tuesday the plan is for me to have a lumpectomy. I hope that is all they need to do.

Im praying hard that all your scans and tests can be as clear as possible. Try to stay positive and keep your faith. God is always there for us and no matter what hills pop up in front of us, He will get us to the top.Stay strong.

Thanks Joel! The power of prayer works...I am very blessed to have so many wonderful friends! Today I got awesome news from my surgeon...
Praise God! My Cat scan was clear...the shadow on my liver was just some blood vessels and my liver is fine , my heart is good, my lungs are good!

My surgery was yesterday and it went well. My sentinal node was clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They feel they got it all and my sentinal node says it had not spread!!! Good bit of pain...can't lift or barely move the left arm. Ice pack and lortab helps some. I have MUCH to be thankful for and I am. Plan to shoot me another big buck this fall....now that I have shot an 8 point on the Missouri farm...I am now in "The Club"...required to shoot only BIGGER deer.

Just wanted to update everyone. The prognosis is good. They say they got all of the cancer. They did a lumpectomy on the 22 and took one node. The sentinal node was clear and so were the margins. It was stage 2 cancer and I will have to have chemo and radiation. I see the oncologist tomorrow. I am still sore from the surgery and tire...sometimes easily....but I am blessed that they caught it early enough. I believe all the prayers from my many friends made the difference. Thank you ...each and every one! Dina
